GTI provides opportunities for internships in non-governmental organizations [NGOs] operating in India. GTI interns are highly committed and aptly skilled students, mostly from the University of St. Gallen.
Gateway to India currently cooperates with NGOs in the fields of e.g. rural development, watershed management, women empowerment, children’s care and education as well as human rights. Furthermore, Gateway to India cooperates with Social Businesses in the areas of Micro Finance and Job-placement of the Urban Poor.
GTI constantly evaluates its existing network and strives to grow it with new partnerships.
Internships in NGOs normally take six to eight weeks and can be accomplished alone or in groups of two to four students.
